Choose which scales to ask, and set a different question per scale.
Pick one or more of CSAT (satisfaction, 1–5), NPS (likelihood to recommend, 0–10), and CES (effort required, 1–5). Selecting more than one means respondents get asked all of them, in order, across the widget, survey page, and API.
Each scale can ask its own question — for example CSAT might ask "How satisfied are you?" while NPS asks "Would you recommend us to a friend?". Writing a question suited to each scale reads much more naturally than reusing one shared question.
The first scale you select becomes the primary metric on the dashboard overview, the default watched scale for score-drop alerts, and the default value of the {{question}} variable in email/push templates.
Example: ask CES ("How much effort did checkout take?") right after a purchase, and NPS ("Would you recommend us?") a month later — you can wire different scales to different automation triggers to do exactly that.
